Virdi have developed a range of fingerprint readers including the
first network enabled version. Their range covers standalone
terminals, network terminals and door-lock versions.

Typical applications are for security and time keeping. Access can be
any combination of fingerprint, password and a range of RF,
smartcard or swipe cards.
